WHITE PLAINS, NY, October 4, 2017 —The Chartwell Law Offices, LLP opened a Westchester County, New York office, located at 81 Main Street in White Plains, New York.  The office is part of the firm’s growth plan and was created to service Chartwell Law’s clients throughout the state of New York.

“With a significant number of clients throughout New York, we saw a need for a physical office.” said Chartwell Law’s CEO, Cliff Goldstein. “We have a growing client base in Westchester County, as well as a number of attorneys who come from – and have close ties to – the area.”

Leading the White Plains office are Carmen Nicolaou and Gregg Scharaga.  Nicolaou and Scharaga both bring 17 years of litigation experience. Nicolaou is a resident of Westchester County.

“The impetus for Gregg and Carmen joining the firm six months ago was, in part, to realize the firm’s plans to further expand into New York,” noted Chartwell Law Founding Partner Charles Barreras.  “Many of our clients are trying to reduce the number of firms being used nationwide to gain efficiency and to gain more consistency and predictability in the way legal services are delivered.”

Chartwell Law, a full-service law firm, now has 120 attorneys in 18 offices located throughout the United States.  The firm represents companies, insurers and individuals in a wide array of matters including first and third party insurance coverage and defense matters; defense of civil litigation; employment disputes; marine matters; and workers’ compensation cases.
